| It's a blast making animations with kids. Kids are usually way, way more imaginative and creative than grownups. Paper, pens, markers, crayons, a bit of audio, and you have the makings for an animated story. I scan the artwork and optimize it for use in Flash, and then I animate it and synch it up to the audio. The results are fun to watch! | |||

In January 2009 Ms. LaRocca said, "Over the weekend I watched 2 rocks and minerals videos and could not keep my eyes open. I think we can do better and at the very least, no worse." Did we succeed? Over the spring Ms. LaRocca's fourth grade class at Brackett Elementary School wrote scripts, recorded audio on Ms. LaRocca's MacBook, and made artwork. Here are the five resulting animations. |

In the spring of 2007 Miss Thompson's second grade class at the Brackett Elementary School in Arlington, MA split up into groups and wrote four stories. Then they created artwork. Miss Thompson had them recite the stories and recorded it all on tape. I took the stories, the artwork, and the tape, and made these four animations. |

In 2005 I met with Miss Smith's Kindergarten class at the Brackett Elementary School in Arlington, MA. All 20 students cranked out illustrations and gave great audio performances. Some are pretty hilarious. You can check them out here. | ||
